The Famous Australian actress Rebel Wilson shared her impressive weight loss journey with her fans Tuesday during an Instagram live on her official Instagram account @rebelwilson.

The actress decided to call 2020 her "Year of Health" back in December 2019, "I was determined in 2020 - the year of health - to actually fully change my whole lifestyle. So, it meant not only, like, physically but mentally as well," Wilson started her Instagram live before proceeding to share her favorite exercise, her healthy eating habits, and her mental health issues.

The 40-year-old actress announced that her favorite exercise ever is just walking and not some complex exclusive move like some might think, "I want you guys to know that the majority of the exercise that I've done this year has just been me going out for a walk. That is free, you can do it, it's safe," she explained.

She then added that she listens to some music, audiobooks, or podcasts while she walks. The actress also encouraged her fans to give walking a go and try to do an hour like she does, "It is the best. Just get your body moving," she said.

Wilson announced that most of her weight loss and wellness journey has been about stopping her bad eating habits that included eating only carbs and sugar. She stated that she is currently on a high protein diet and tries to eat less than 1,500 calories as well as drinking lots of water. Before continuing to say that nothing is off-limits in her new diet and that she is only aiming for food balance.

The Pitch Perfect actress explained that it is easier to eat mindfully when eating something healthy like chicken but much harder to do so when eating unhealthy junk food, "if I'm eating a whole frickin' bag of chips I'm just like devouring that and suddenly there's a ton of calories and game over and yeah, no weight loss that week," the actress stated.

While the actress does not suffer from any drug or alcohol addictions, she admitted to suffering from emotional eating, "Whether that be happiness, sadness, celebrating, depressed. Emotional eating was kind of the thing that I did," she explained before continuing, "How I was dealing with fame and the pressures of work was by emotional eating."

Wilson then encouraged her fans not to feel bad about emotional eating or overeating and to try to manage it as well as replacing the unhealthy habits with healthy ones.
