The real estate sector topped the ranking of the sectors traded on the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) in terms of trading value during the sessions of the ended week.
The real estate sector recorded a volume of 401 million papers worth EGP 1.1 billion. The non-banking financial services sector was the second sector that witnessed activity with a circulation volume of 580 million papers with a value of EGP 803.4.
The basic resources sector ranked third with a circulation volume of 88.2 million papers worth EGP 565.3, followed by the banking sector with a circulation volume of 8 million papers worth EGP 329.9 million.
The textile and durable goods sector with a circulation volume of 145.9 million papers valued at EGP 311.5 million.
The services, industrial products, and cars sector came in sixth place with a circulation volume of 62.4 million executed papers worth EGP 248.9 million. It was followed by the food, beverage, and tobacco sector with a circulation volume of 33.3 million executed papers worth EGP 238.2 million.
