R&B Singer Keith Martin Found Dead in His Apartment

American R&B singer-songwriter Keith Martin was found dead inside his Quezon City condo unit in the Philippines. He was 55.

Local celebrities and friends from the music industry like Kyla, Daryl Ong, Kris Lawrence, and actress Sheree Vidal Bautista, confirmed the tragic news on social media.

The neighbours reported to security that a foul smell was coming from the sixth floor, then, police were called in. Barangay officials and the staff of Martin’s condo entered the unit and saw his lifeless body on the bed.

After examining the body, it was revealed that Martin had already been dead for a week.

Meantime, Police affirmed that investigation on the incident will be turned over to the Crime Investigation Section of the Quezon City Police District.

Martine has no other family or relatives in the Philippines, where he has been residing for years now, according to The Sun.

The “Because of You” singer was last seen at the March 12 wedding of Daryl Ong and wife Dea Formilleza in Antipolo City - where he performed live at the reception.
