Being an adorable celebrity doesn’t make you immune from the power of cyberbullies – as these two actresses discovered for themselves when they became targets of the trolls.

Calling recent rashes of cyberbullying on social media "Sexual bullying and gender violence," actress Raniah Youssef is pressing charges against multiple Twitter users who came after her in the wake of some comments she made about the Spanish Barcelona football team and his President Joan Laporta.

Youssef posted on her official Instagram account a photo of her with the President of FC Barcelona Joan Laporta in Spain, on Tuesday.

Later on, the actress came under fire from her twitter bullies, who had made ugly comments about specific body parts, that's crossing the line.

Responding to this unethical campaign, Youssef said she decided to press charges because the tweets were "that explicit, that overt" and came from "that many bullies."

She wrote on her Twitter handle: "The amount of gender violence that I experience is absolutely extraordinary. I have been filing police reports at home about gender violence directed at me on social media."

Similarly, Mena Fadaly revealed on Thursday that she decided to press charges just because some ugly words were exchanged on her Twitter page.

The Egyptian charming actress was subjected to sexual bullying after a bully commented on a post on her official Twitter account describing her as a silly or ditsy woman.

It's worth mentioning that this kind of bad behavior is upsetting no matter what it's called. Like any ordinary woman who's being bullied, Youssef and Fadaly can also feel threatened and scared and experience a great deal of emotional stress.
