Egyptian actress, Rania Youssef stated Saturday that she contracted coronavirus in December.
Youssef, who was celebrating the launch of the second season of TV series "Miss Farah" on Shahid platform, disclosed to "Et bil Arabi" that she contracted coronavirus in December 2019, in New Year, but it was not classified back then as coronavirus, adding, "at that time it was not declared a pandemic”.
She continued: "At that time, I isolated myself by myself because it was a bad flu that was bizarre. It had the symptoms of coronavirus, but I dealt perfectly,".
Youssef also addressed the recent rumor of contracting the virus after returning from El Gouna film festival, saying: “A rumor, but I thank the rumor launcher to me because it showed me how much people love me and how much they were afraid for me. Many people contacted me, making my phones breakdown,”.
She added that she never saw rumors as a bad thing, noting that she sees them as interest from people.
