Rania Youssef, Asser Yassin Deny Contracting Coronavirus

Egyptian actress, Rania Youssef, commented Saturday on the recent reports that claim her infection with the Coronavirus, after attending the 4th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival (GFF).

Youssef denied humorously via Twitter her infection and affirmed that the claims were nonsense rumors.

Actor, Asser Yassin also denied to youm 7 the circulating reports that claims of his infection with the virus.

Yassin confirmed that he suffers from a cold, which prompted him to conduct a test as a precaution to make sure whether these symptoms are related to the Coronavirus or not.

The actor stated that the result has not appeared yet, expressing his wishes that the results will come negative.

The 4th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival (GFF) kicked off from Oct. 23 – Oct 31, in El Gouna resort town, Red Sea Governorate, despite the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The festival management was keen to adhere to Coronavirus measures, however, it was not sufficient enough as many celebrities who attended the festival got infected such as Basma, Zainab Ghareeb, Wegz, and Reem El Adl.

Thereafter, many celebrities underwent PCR tests including, legendary Egyptian actress Yousra, Khaled El-Sawy, Ahmed Dawood and his wife actress Ola Roshdy as well as film director Amir Ramses, Ahmed El Sakka and his family, Hany Ramzy, Hend Abdel Halim, Bushra, Ayten Amer, Lekaa Elkhamissi, and Mirhan Hussein.
