Egypt's-American renowned actor Rami Malek and Aja Naomi King will both be involved in the second season of the Blackout series, according to American media.
In this regard, the talented young actor is returning for the second season of hit QCode podcast Blackout. Moreover, the apocalyptic thriller will be released in the upcoming weeks with Malek repeating his role of Simon Itani, a small-town radio DJ fighting to protect his family and community after the power grid goes down nationwide, upending modern civilization.
It's worth mentioning that this series is written and directed by the renowned filmmaker Jeremy Novick, who is well known for some of his seminal works, such as (Queen Of The South) and (Life of Michael).
Born and raised in California to Egyptian immigrant parents, Malek studied theater at the University of Evansville in Indiana.
Throughout his career, Malek has won two Academy Awards, the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and British Academy Film Award for Best Actor. His breakthrough role came in the War at Home (2005–2007).
