Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek will combine forces with Taylor Swift for staring a new film, Vogue reported on Thursday. The unnamed film will be directed by iconic director David O. Russell.
Several icons will join the cast such as Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Zoe Saldana and more.
The earliest news posted about the film was in January without pronouncing Swift's name. This film would be her first screen appearance in two years.
Production is currently underway in Los Angeles. Disney is distributing the movie via New Regency’s deal with 20th Century Studios.
Russell is known for directing Oscar-winning movies “American Hustle”, and “Silver Linings Playbook.” His other movie credits include “Spanking the Monkey,” “Flirting with Disaster,” “Three Kings”, and “I Heart Huckabees.”
Last December, the Egyptian-US actor’s movie “The Little Things,” a psychological thriller that also stars Denzel Washington and Jared Leto, debuted on HBO Max and in movie theaters on Jan. 29.
