The Rafah land border will continue its operations during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, ensuring the passage of humanitarian aid to Gaza's residents. This initiative aligns with Egypt's committed efforts to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip following the outbreak of conflict on October 7th. Egyptian crossings have been operational 24/7, not only to process humanitarian cases and patients but also to provide medical treatment within Egyptian healthcare facilities. Furthermore, the crossing's operational capacity is maximized during the Eid holidays to accommodate the influx of aid.

In the meantime, the conflict escalates as the occupying forces persist in their aerial and artillery assaults throughout the Gaza Strip. These attacks have led to massacres of civilians and heinous crimes in areas of incursion, exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis. The blockade and ensuing displacement have affected over 90% of Gaza's populace.

The Israeli military's airstrikes have leveled entire residential areas in the Gaza Strip, exemplifying the strategy of total destruction employed in the ongoing conflict.

Compounding the tragedy, thousands of casualties and injured individuals remain buried under debris, unreachable due to continuous bombings and the dangerous conditions on the ground. Amidst a stringent blockade, restrictions on the entry of fuel, and urgent humanitarian supplies, the Gaza Strip faces a severe humanitarian emergency, underscoring the critical need for sustained aid and support.
