Eleven wounded Palestinians have crossed the Rafah border to receive medical treatment in Egypt, according to Al-Qahera News.
The Egyptian channel also noted that 60 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entered Gaza through the only border crossing between the besieged coastal enclave and Egypt.
On Monday, Egypt received 24 injured Palestinians and their families from the besieged Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing. They are suffering several injuries including fractures and wounds in the head, eye, and body caused by shrapnel, Egyptian Red Crescent said.
Earlier, Egypt’s Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said that 39 percent of the cases coming from the Gaza Strip are children who were wounded in the Israeli strikes.
