Rady: Sisi Names New Navy Commander

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree, appointing Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Ashraf Ibrahim Atwa Megahed, as Commander of the Navy.

The President also appointed Vice Admiral Ahmed Khaled as Commander of the Strategic Command, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady's statements on Tuesday.

"Sisi issued a presidential decree appointing Vice Admiral Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said as commander of the strategic command and military industrialization supervisor, commissioned to the rank of Under Secretary," said Rady.
