President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is heading to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today, Wednesday, to discuss regional developments with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
"The President's visit to the UAE comes within the framework of the special Egyptian-UAE relations and the historical brotherly ties that the two countries share, in addition to relations of cooperation and mutual coordination at all levels," said Rady.
Sisi is expected to discuss with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, aspects of the close and extended bilateral relations between Egypt and the UAE.
The two leaders are also anticipated to tackle consulting and coordinating on the latest regional developments, and concerted efforts to protect Arab national security and to counter attempts to destabilize the security and stability of Arab countries.
