On Monday, Egypt's Presidency Spokesman Bassam Rady said that January 25th is a remarkable day in Egypt's history.
In radio statements, the spokesman extended his greeting, and appreciation to the innocent souls of Egypt's police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for sake of the homeland.
Moreover, Rady added that Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi always affirms that stability and security are the keys to progress.
The spokesman also highlighted Sisi's meeting with a number of ministers last week, during which he reviewed the development of police facilities in general. During the meeting, the president underlined the necessity to facilitate the movement of citizens and the services provided to them.
In addition, Rady stressed that Sisi is always keen to keep in constant contact with cadets of the Police academy and listen to them, referring to the president's latest visit to Police Academy on Friday.
Police Day Celebration
President Sisi attended on Monday a celebration held to mark the 69th anniversary of Police Day.
Upon his arrival, he laid a wreath of flowers at police martyrs’ memorial.
The President was accompanied by Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik.
