Rady: Elysee to Host Sisi-Macron Summit on Monday

Egyptian Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady revealed on Sunday that an Egyptian-French summit will be held at the Elysee Palace, Monday morning between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.

In statements to Egyptian television, Rady said that the Egyptian-French relations have witnessed a great development and a qualitative leap over the past years, noting that there are 16 French companies operating in Egypt in all fields.

He manifested that the summit will tackle with strengthening the frameworks of bilateral cooperation and regional issues of common interest between the two countries, pointing out that Sisi will meet with senior French officials, headed by the French Finance Minister.

Moreover, Rady disclosed that Sisi will meet with the President of the Sudanese Transitional Council, the heads of governments of Spain and Portugal, adding that he will hold bilateral meetings with some African leaders.
