Egyptian TV Anchor Radwa El Sherbiny denied Saturday rumors that she secretly tied the knot to a married man.
In a live-streamed video posted on Facebook, El Sherbiny stated that since she entered the media, she has faced many rumors, especially about marriage and porce, noting that she did not respond to any of them, except this one time, when a Moroccan citizen was mentioned by his name, thus she had to respond and deny the incident.
"Now, I had to respond because the current rumor is not only about me but was also about other people that I love and consider as a family, for whom I respect and appreciate," she added.
El Sherbiny stressed that everything being circulated was not true as well as that she did not marry in secret.
She continued: “I'm not in a relationship, and when I'm in one, people in Egypt will know, not just in Egypt, but in the entire Arab world as well, because I'm not the kind of woman who would do anything in secret.
"Marriage is not forbidden or shameful, but I'm currently single, and I'm saying due to a disrespectful person who launched a disrespectful rumor about me," El Sherbiny added.
