Rachel Zegler, who will make her on-screen debut in "West Side Story", has landed her next major job with Disney.
Zegler will play Snow White in Disney’s live-action adaption of the studio’s first animated feature movie, "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs", which debuted in 1937.

Marc Webb will direct the movie, which is described as a new take on the classic, which follows a princess that is exiled by her stepmother, an evil queen who wants to kill her, she runs into a forest where she is rescued by seven dwarfs who form a friendship with her.
Later on, she fed a poisoned apple by her stepmother and then falls into a deep sleep that can be broken only by a kiss from the prince.
"The Greatest Showman" and "Dear Evan Hansen" team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will write new songs for the movie.
The film is expected to go into production in 2022.

Zegler will be seen as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s "West Side Story" after a nationwide search.
The movie bows this December after being pushed several times due to the coronavirus theatrical shutdowns.
She will also appear in the DC comic book sequel "Shazam! Fury of the Gods", starring Zachary Levi.
