The "Lobster" stars Rachel Weisz and Colin Farrell will star in the dark comedy movie "Love Child".
The Cinetic Media and CAA Media Finance are handling the financing and representing the domestic rights alongside WME while Madriver International is overseeing international sales and bringing the project to the upcoming Cannes virtual market.
Directed by Todd Solondz, the movie is billed as a dark and hilarious twist to the classical Oedipus story and centered around a kid who desires to get rid of his brutish dad and have his mom all to himself, but things go awry when a handsome stranger appears.
Weisz next appears in Marvel’s "Black Widow" and will also be making her TV debut as star and executive producer of the upcoming "Dead Ringers series" for Amazon, a gender-swapped reimagining of David Cronenberg’s 1980 cult horror film.
Meanwhile, Farrell will appear as The Penguin in the upcoming "The Batman" reboot alongside Robert Pattinson. He is also set to appear with Jodie Turner-Smith and Justin H. Min in the sci-fi drama "After Yang".
