Egypt national team manager, Carlos Queiroz, is confident in his team ahead of their game against Senegal in the 2022 World Cup qualifers.

After beating them 1-0 in the first leg, Egypt will now visit Senegal to play the second game of the playoff round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

“All the players are ready to face Senegal and we have no injuries,” Queiroz said in the pre-match press conference.

“I think we are working hard and everything depends on the commitment of our team. All the players are training seriously and collectively, but we need patience.

“We have a team of humble players, with tremendous discipline and hard work, if we focus tomorrow in this regard I’m confident that we will play a special match."

“My philosophy is that we never play against Senegal, Cameroon, Nigeria or Côte d’Ivoire, but we always play against ourselves, every game we play is against Egypt.

“If we play well in the last match, we must play better in this match. This is my philosophy,” he added.
