Jordan’s Queen Rania met with U.S. First Lady Jill Biden at the White House on Wednesday.
“It was a pleasure catching up with U.S. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden yesterday,” Rania wrote on Instagram.
During their meeting, Queen Rania and Dr. Jill discussed various issues of mutual interest.
The meeting marks the second between the two First Ladies since President Joe Biden took office in January 2021.
The Queen was accompanied by King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on a working visit to Washington, D.C.
Meanwhile, President Biden and King Abdullah II will hold talks at the White House "to bolster the strategic partnership between Jordan and the U.S. through expanding cooperation across various sectors."
