On Sunday, Queen Elizabeth II's helicopter made an emergency on the way to pick up Princess Royal Anne, Queen Elizabeth II's daughter.
The main reason for such an emergency landing was that the Sikorsky S-76 faced a sudden technical problem a few minutes after taking off.
Moreover, the crew of the aircraft had to cancel their trip to Balmoral Castle, Scotland where Princess Anne stayed for having a holiday.
The aircraft returned to Newcastle Airport where the technical issue would be fixed in a 24-hour process.
A Royal source told The Sun: "A safety-first approach was taken and it was flown back immediately for the technical fault to be fixed. There were no members of the royal family on the helicopter. Luckily, there was plenty of time to find alternative travel arrangements."
However, Princess Anne used another helicopter to head towards Oban as she has several engagements in the Scottish city.
