The Queen answered: "He’s fine, thank you very much. Looking forward to getting back to work." It was the first time a member of the royal family spoke on the health news.
On Wednesday, Buckingham Palace released a short statement regarding the health of King Charles III, saying: "In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate. His Majesty's condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure. The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation."
Buckingham Palace didn't mention where the king's procedure will take place.
In the same context, the palace announced that Princess Kate Middleton was hospitalized after having surgery at the London Clinic as she will stay for two weeks.
