Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received an invitation from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to attend the 40th summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Qatar News Agency reported Tuesday that Qatar's Emir received a letter from King Salman, which include an invitation to attend the 40th GCC summit.
The Agency noted Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received the message, during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

The GCC leaders are scheduled to hold their 40th Summit on December 10, under the chairmanship of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in Riyadh.
They will probe some key topics to boost cooperation and integration amongst member states in political, defense, security, social and economic fields.
