Qatari Prime Minister (PM) and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, reaffirmed the State of Qatar's continued and full support for all good offices and efforts aimed at enhancing regional security and stability.
He stressed the importance of reaching sustainable solutions for outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, in accordance with the principles of international law and good neighborliness, to open new horizons for cooperation, development, and prosperity, and to realize the mutual interests of the peoples of the region and the world.
This came during a phone call received by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman from the United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).
During the call, they reviewed cooperative relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations and ways to support and enhance them.
They also discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the recent agreement reached between the United States and Iran, along with the ongoing efforts to bolster security and stability in the region.
