Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is currently visiting Doha, discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, especially in the field of technology, and developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
The two sides discussed - according to Qatar News Agency - developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, and the efforts of the State of Qatar within the joint mediation that contributed to reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, and also focused on the latest developments in Syria and Lebanon.
During the meeting, the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister reiterated the position of the State of Qatar in support of international efforts to find a peaceful solution to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis through dialogue and diplomatic means.
