Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday at the Al Waseel Palace.
In a statment, Amiri Diwan said that Qatari Emir and French president discussed the latest developments in Gaza and the Palestinian territories.
During his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to ensure a return to calm and a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, protecting civilians and delivering humanitarian aid to the people of the Strip, and finding solutions that guarantee the establishment of two states in accordance with international and UN resolutions.
During their meeting, both leaders discussed the strategic cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues.
