The Qatari Cabinet commended the outcomes of the official discussions held between His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the latter's official visit to Qatar on April 13–14.

The talks reflected the deep-rooted and strong fraternal ties between the two countries.

According to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on Wednesday, the Cabinet emphasized that mutual trust and a shared commitment to advancing bilateral relations across all fields characterize the Qatari-Egyptian relationship.

This cooperation is seen as beneficial to both peoples and contributes to the security and stability of the region.

The Cabinet highlighted the importance of the joint statement issued at the conclusion of the visit, which underscored the strong understanding between both nations on key regional and international issues, foremost among them, the Palestinian cause.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to continuing joint efforts to achieve an immediate and sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, ensure the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians, support reconstruction efforts, and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The Cabinet meeting was chaired by Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
