Qatar has emphasized the necessity for all parties to commit to the full implementation of the Gaza Strip ceasefire agreement, ensuring a sustainable and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid to Palestinians throughout the territory.
In a statement released by the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the reopening of the Palestinian side of the Rafah Land Crossing in the southern Gaza Strip for the movement of Palestinians is a "step in the right direction."
The ministry highlighted that this move is crucial for addressing the tragic conditions faced by civilians, particularly regarding humanitarian and healthcare needs.
Furthermore, the statement reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people. This position remains rooted in international legitimacy and the two-state solution, ensuring the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
