Qatar has announced the phased resumption of international airline operations following recent disruptions caused by heightened regional tensions, according to the country’s aviation authority.
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority said on Monday that foreign airline services operating through Hamad International Airport will restart gradually under strict safety and operational procedures.
Officials said the return of flights will be carefully managed in stages, with continued coordination between regulators and international carriers to restore normal schedules and operations.
Air traffic at Hamad International Airport was significantly affected in recent weeks due to escalating regional military tensions, leading several airlines to suspend or reduce services as a precaution.
The disruption comes amid wider instability in the Middle East following an escalation in conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran, which has impacted regional aviation routes and raised security concerns across multiple countries.
Authorities stressed that restoring safe air traffic remains the priority, with strict monitoring in place as operations gradually return to normal.
