Russian President Vladimir Putin expected that the reopening of the Russian embassy in Burkina Faso would help develop cooperation between the two countries.
The Russian President said - in a meeting with the President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traore, " we attach great importance to developing relations with Burkina Faso, and therefore we decided to reopen the Russian embassy, which was closed since 1992."
"I am sure that the work of the Russian embassy will give an additional impetus to the development of our relations," Putin added.
