Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has received an invitation to join the Gaza Peace Council and is currently considering whether to accept.
The Peace Council is a key component of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
The two-phase plan was originally unveiled on September 29 of last year.
The White House previously announced that the Council, chaired by Trump, will include U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, American businessman and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, among others.
