Putin, Pakistani PM Discuss Bilateral Relations over Phone

Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed, during a telephone call today, Monday, with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, bilateral relations and ways to combat the spread of the Coronavirus.

The Kremlin said - in a statement - that "the Russian President had a telephone call today with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, and discussed ways of developing Russian-Pakistani relations in various fields, including trade, economic, energy and humanitarian fields, as well as combating the spread of coronavirus.

The statement added that Imran Khan stressed the support of Pakistan and the Muslim world as a whole for the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin during the annual press conference on December 23 regarding the inadmissibility of any actions under the pretext of freedom of expression that undermine the dignity of certain religious, national or social groups.
