Putin Has No Plans to Partake in Davos Forum So Far: Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to take part in the meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos set for January 2020, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"No, there are no such plans so far," Peskov said when asked, whether Putin plans to take part in the meeting or not.

It is worth mentioning that, Putin took part in the WEF in the Swiss Davos in 2009 as Russian Prime Minister. In 2020, the forum will be held on January 21 to 24.

the WEF is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.

The forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. It was established in 1971 as a nonprofit foundation and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
