The Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri discussed on Thursday the political situation in Lebanon, Hariri's press office announced.
During the 50 minute call, both leaders handled the latest government-formation issue, in addition to asserting the necessity of declaring a new government as soon as possible.
Also, the call reviewed the fields of cooperation between both countries in the light of COVID-19 outbreak including Russian's possibility to provide Lebanon with vaccine.
Both sides agreed upon continuing their discussions to benefit from the Russian support to Lebanon in all fields, in addition to examining the bilateral cooperation in the field of investment.
