Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday discussed the outcomes of the Alaska summit with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

According to a statement from the Kremlin, cited by Russia’s Sputnik news agency, Putin and Lukashenko reviewed the regional situation in light of the Russian leader’s recent meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. They also addressed issues concerning Moscow-Minsk relations.

In a separate phone conversation, President Tokayev congratulated Putin on the results of his meeting with Trump in Anchorage, noting that the talks contributed to a clearer understanding by the United States of Russia’s stance on Ukraine.

Tokayev emphasized that the summit helped the U.S. gain a better grasp of Moscow’s position regarding the conflict in Ukraine.

Putin and Trump held their talks in Alaska at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base. The meeting, conducted in a “3-on-3” format, lasted two hours and 45 minutes.
