Dar al-Iftaa announced on Wednesday that the Islamic month of Rabi’ al-Awwal will start on Friday, October 8.
In a statement, it also added that the Mawlid al-Nabawi ( Prophet Muhammad’s birthday) will take place on Tuesday, October 19.
On this occasion, the Islamic institution congratulated Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people.
It is worth mentioning that, Al-Mawlid Al Nabawi al-Sharif is the observance of the birthday of Islamic prophet Mohammad which is commemorated in Rabi’ al-awwal, the third month in the Islamic calendar.
The Prophet’s birthday is a remarkable holiday widely celebrated across Egypt and the whole Islamic world.
