Priyanka Chopra Jonas' life has often been in the spotlight for being one of the famous  Bollywood and Hollywood actresses as well as for marrying a pop superstar.

Chopra Jonas went viral on the internet on Wednesday after opening up about her botched nose surgery in her memoir “Unfinished,” which is now available for pre-order and goes on sale later this month through Penguin’s Michael Joseph imprint.

In 2001, she had a lingering head cold which she assumed was just a very bad sinus infection, but, later it was diagnosed that she had a polyp in her nasal cavity and she had to undergo a polypectomy to get it removed.

However, the polypectomy went wrong. The surgeon accidentally shaved the bridge of her nose and the bridge collapsed. The star, who had already become famous in her native India for her looks, was left "horrified".

"My original nose was gone. My face looked completely different. I wasn't me." Chopra Jonas shared.

"All the talk of body parts and skin tone collectively made me feel devalued and unseen and uncertain about my future. Having experienced the aftermath of a supposedly simple polyp removal, I knew I wasn't willing to follow the course he'd laid out for me, even if he, as the highly successful expert, was right," she added.

The botched nose surgery lost her work; she was fired from two movies. It had also led to some haters calling the former beauty pageant queen 'Plastic Chopra.'

Priyanka had several corrective surgeries and has now gotten accustomed to her face.
