On Friday, Princess Anne was discharged from hospital after spending a-five-day stay for treatment.
She was admitted to the hospital after having minor head injuries and concussion believed to have been caused by a horse accident in her home.
The Princess Royal left Southmead hospital in Bristol early on Friday morning without referring to the date of resuming her engagements.
She will remain at her Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire for rest and recuperation.
Her husband, V Adm Sir Timothy Laurence, said in a statement: “I would like to extend my warmest thanks to the team at Southmead hospital for their care, expertise and kindness during my wife’s short stay.”
