The Duke of Cambridge Prince William will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next month, Kensington Palace announced on Friday.

Prince William's visit to Dubai on February 10 will mark the 50th anniversary of the UAE as the UK seeks to take more steps for enhancing its ties with the UAE.

Kensington Palace added: "The bond between the UK and the UAE is deep and strong and Prince William's visit will highlight and build upon these links as he has the opportunity to engage with young Emiratis, leaders from government and committed conservationists."

The Duke of Cambridge's visit would be the second official visit conducted by a senior Royalty in less than two months after his father, UK's Crown Prince Charles, visit to Egypt and Jordan last November.

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla's visit to the Middle East was the first conducted by senior Royal members to the Middle East after the pandemic.

Their tour included several rounds with Queen Abdullah II, and Queen Rania in Jordan, including a visit to the site of Jesus Christ's epiphany nearby the Jordan River.

Regarding Egypt's stop, the Royal couple had a meeting with President Abdel Fattah Sisi, and the First Lady Intisar Sisi.
