Duke of Cambridge Prince William and his brother Duke of Sussex Prince Harry united together for unveiling the Princess Diana statue at Kensington Palace on Thursday.

The memorial was uncovered on the occasion of the Princess of Wales' 60th birthday. Diana's siblings attended that event as well. The statue depicted the late princess's energy, enthusiasm, and beauty.

This was the first official event that saw the two brothers united after Harry's participation at the "Tell-All" interview with Oprah Winfrey where his wife Meghan Markle accused the Royal Family of racism.

Both dukes said in a joint statement: "Today, on what would have been our mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength, and character - qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better."

"Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy," they described.

Diana, the most popular figure in the history of the Royal Family, died in 1997 in a tragic car crash in Paris at the age of 34.
