Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released, Wednesday, their first Christmas card since relocating to California, showing off 19-month old Archie's shock of red hair.
The card was shared to the social media accounts for the animal welfare charity Mayhew, as it tweeted the image yesterday along with a thank you for an undisclosed personal donation from the royals.

“This year we, as a family, have made donations to several charities with you in mind. From a local California organization that helps families transition out of homelessness, to two of our UK patronages: one that supports animal and community welfare, and the other, a memorial fund for a cherished friend that helps to educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we have honored their work on behalf of all of us,” Markle wrote.
“The original photo of the family was taken at their home earlier this month by the Duchess’s mother,” a spokesperson for the family told TODAY via email. “The small Christmas tree, including the homemade ornaments and other decorations, were selected by Archie, and the tree will be replanted after the holidays.”
On the other hand, Royal commentators believed that Prince Harry and Markle disrespected the Queen via a ‘thinly veiled’ insult over Frogmore Cottage repayments, according to the News International.
The HeirHeads podcast host Meadhbh and Tom have discussed this claim.
“The big news for us was that Harry made the very smart move of immediately sending a fat cheque over to repay the cost of renovations on Frogmore Cottage plus a little bit more for rent,” Meadhbh claimed.
On his part, Co-presenter Tom asserted that “It was such a relief to us when he did this. We had said the week before when we reported he had done this deal, we said he should send that cheque in the post.”
“The £2.4million that every single critical piece of them brought up over and over again as though they are the only royals who have had millions spent on a property that they're never in,” he added.
“It was a great [expletive] move. They've actually made more money than you've ever made in your entire life,” he mentioned. “It comes as royal biographer Angela Levin claimed that the couple need to earn money for the upkeep of their home.”
Presenter Mike Graham also chimed in during the past conversation, saying “Any chance you've got of meeting Harry and Markle now is if you buy a table for ten grand at some function they're hosting which is rather unfortunate.”
