Prince George, the eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, made his first public appearance at the annual Remembrance Festival honoring fallen servicemen and women.
The event took place Saturday evening at the Royal Albert Hall, marking a significant step in the young prince’s growing role within the British royal family.
12-year-old Prince George attended the ceremony accompanied by his mother, Catherine, Princess of Wales, his grandfather King Charles III, and Queen Camilla.
The royal family took their seats as the military band began performing at the start of the service.
Prince William, the heir to the British throne, was absent from the ceremony as he had only just returned from attending the COP30 climate conference in Brazil.
Prince George is second in line to the throne, following his father.
The event also marked the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, adding special historical significance to this year’s observance.
