Presidential Advisor: Egypt to See Increase in COVID-19 Cases (Video)

Egypt is expected to see an increase in COVID-19 cases during the coming period, Health Affairs Presidential Advisor Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din revealed on Monday.

 

In press statements to "Al-Hadath al-Youm" talkshow, Tag El-Din said that most people infected with the COVID-19 virus experience symptoms like, high body temperature, sneezing, coughing, and the loss of taste and smell.

On Monday, Egypt reported 767 new coronavirus cases, bringing total infections since last year to 205732.

 

In its daily briefing, the health ministry also reported 47 deaths to bring the death toll since the outbreak to 12210.
