Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, conducted an inspection visit to the Strategic Command Headquarters in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, reviewing operational readiness and military capabilities.
According to Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy, the unannounced visit formed part of the president’s ongoing oversight of military institutions and their preparedness across various specialisations. He noted that the Strategic Command Headquarters represents a significant qualitative and quantitative advancement in the development of Egypt’s armed forces capabilities.
During the tour, President El-Sisi also visited the Egyptian Military Academy, where he met with a number of cadets and reviewed the academy’s educational system and training programmes.
The president held an interactive discussion with students about their academic and military training activities, stressing the importance of exerting maximum effort and maintaining a commitment to continuous self-development.
El-Sisi emphasised that building highly qualified military personnel requires dedication, discipline and ongoing improvement of professional and technical skills, highlighting the armed forces' role in safeguarding national security and protecting the country's strategic interests.
