President Sisi, President of Azerbaijan discuss regional issues

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that regional issues were discussed in the talks with the President of Azerbaijan.

President Sisi added, during the joint press conference with the President of Azerbaijan: “I stressed during the talks the importance of maintaining the regularity of holding rounds of political consultations between the two countries.”

President Sisi affirmed Egypt’s support for all initiatives aimed at achieving peace and stability in the South Caucasus region, stressing: “We provide full support for dialogue and negotiation to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.”

President Sisi added" :we also looked forward to holding the meetings of the sixth session of the Egyptian-Azerbaijani Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation as soon as possible."

" We seek to boost our economic and trade relations by taking advantage of the capabilities available in the sectors of construction, transportation, communications, information technology, food and pharmaceutical industries, and oil and ga," the president noted.
