On Monday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued three presidential decrees appointing new leadership for media and press regulatory bodies.

According to the decrees, Khaled Mahmoud Abdel Aziz has been named Chairman of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, Abdel Sadeq Al-Shorbagi will head the National Press Authority, and Ahmed Al-Muslimani has been appointed Chairman of the National Media Authority.

In a separate development, President El-Sisi directed government officials to intensify efforts to attract investments in the energy sector. The initiative aims to meet the sector's strategic targets while maximizing its role in driving national development.

The Presidential Spokesperson confirmed that the President was briefed on the government’s comprehensive plan to secure the energy sector’s needs. The plan includes ensuring a consistent supply of petroleum products and maintaining the steady flow of gas to the national electricity grid, thereby stabilizing electricity supply nationwide and reducing waste.
