Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi headed, this morning, to New Delhi, at an invitation of Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi to participate as a Chief Guest of India’s Republic Day Celebrations on 26th January 2023.
Official Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said that Sisi's participation as Chief Guest at this event reflects the great rapprochement between the two countries, and India's deep appreciation for Egypt's leadership, government, and people.
Moreover, It demonstrates the deep interest of the Indian side in strengthening relations of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries, in their capacity as one of the key emerging countries and in light of their vital role on the regional and international arenas, the spokesman added.
