President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi is heading this morning to Algeria, to participate in the 31st Arab Summit, which will be held on November 1, 2 in the capital, Algiers.
Ambassador Bassam Rady, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic said that the president's participation in the Arab summit comes within the framework of Egypt's keenness to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and brotherhood with all Arab countries, and in continuation of Egypt's pivotal role in strengthening efforts to enhance joint action mechanisms for the sake of all Arab peoples.
The official spokesman added that the Algiers summit will aim at consultation and coordination among the brotherly Arab countries, regarding efforts to preserve the security and stability of the region and promote Arab interests, especially in light of the multiple existing challenges at the international and regional levels, as a result of the consequences of the Corona pandemic and the Ukrainian crisis.
The president's program will also include holding a number of bilateral meetings with Arab leaders in order to discuss ways to enhance joint bilateral relations, as well as exchanging visions on the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
