President Sisi Grants Sultan of Bohra 'Nile Sash'

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Monday, Sultan of Bohra sect in India Mufaddal Saif Al-Din, accompanied by his sons Prince Jaafar Al-Sadiq Imad Al-Din, Prince Taha Najm Al-Din, and Prince Hussein Burhan Al-Din.

The meeting was attended by Head of General Intelligence Major General Abbas Kamel, and Mufaddal Muhammad, the representative of the Sultan in Cairo.

During the meeting, President Sisi welcomed Sultan of Bohra, as a dear guest of Egypt, praising the historic relations between Egypt and the Bohra sect.

Moreover, Sisi appreciated the role of Sultan and sect in restoring and renovating the shrines of Al al-Bayt and a number of historical Egyptian mosques, as well as the various charitable activities in Egypt, which comes in line with the state's efforts to achieve development, and its keenness to develop historic Cairo and restore its authentic cultural character.

Furthermore, Egypt's head of state granted Sultan of Bohra the the ' Nile Sash' medal, in appreciation for his continuous efforts in Egypt on the cultural, charitable, and societal levels.
