President Sisi Embarks on European Tour to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

 Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will begin a crucial European tour today, starting with a visit to Copenhagen, Denmark. The tour will also include official visits to Norway and Ireland, focusing on enhancing cooperation and coordination between Egypt and these European nations.

A statement from the Egyptian Presidency confirmed that President El-Sisi's visit to Denmark is part of a broader strategy to strengthen Egypt's relationships with key European countries. During his stay, the President will hold meetings with Denmark’s monarch, Prime Minister, and Speaker of Parliament. Additionally, he will participate in a series of economic events, culminating in the signing of a strategic partnership declaration between Egypt and Denmark, as well as several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in various fields of cooperation.

Following his visit to Denmark, President El-Sisi will travel to Oslo, Norway, for an official visit. He is set to meet with Norway’s King, Prime Minister, and members of the Norwegian Parliament. The President will also engage with the heads of several Norwegian companies operating in Egypt, underscoring the importance of fostering economic ties between the two nations. A number of bilateral cooperation agreements are expected to be signed during this leg of the visit.

The final stop of the President’s European tour will be in Dublin, Ireland, where he will meet with both the President and Prime Minister of Ireland. The discussions will focus on opportunities to further enhance cooperation between the two countries, as well as coordinate positions on various international issues and crises of mutual concern.
