Moments ago, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi opened the activities of the Cairo Summit for Peace which is held after the latest escalations in Palestine.

In his speech, President El Sisi asserted that a fair and comprehensive solution for the Palestine Crisis is based on the two-state solution.

The President highlighted that Egypt strongly condemns threatening or killing the civilians, expressing Cairo's shock at the stand of the world to the humanitarian tragedy of 2.5 million people in the Gaza Strip, describing it as a collective punishment, siege, and strong enforcement to drive Palestinians to abandon their lands.

He also underscored that Egypt won't be the price of killing the Palestinian Crisis without setting a fair solution.

On the occasion of the summit, President El Sisi said that he invited the world leaders to work together to establish a road map for ending the current humanitarian tragedy, reviving the process of peace to the two-state solution, and establishing an independent Palestinian State living side by side with Israel, in addition, to strengthen the full authority of Palestine.

The President also affirmed that Egypt exerted no efforts in coordinating delivering the humanitarian aid to Gaza, and Egypt didn't close the Rafah Border but the continued Israeli attacks on it hindered its work, revealing that he and US President Joe Biden agreed upon opening the border permanently in cooperation with the United Nations, UNRWA, and the Palestinian Red Crescent.
